Who we are. Thames Environment is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@thamesenvironment.com.

What we collect and why. When you send an enquiry, request a review slot or email us, we collect the details you give (name, company, email, phone, your message) to reply, to arrange and deliver the free review and any services you ask for, and to keep records of our dealings. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where we go on to work together, performance of a contract. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

The compliance checker runs entirely in your browser. The answers you enter are not sent to us or stored unless you choose to email them to us.

Cookies and analytics. The site works without cookies. If analytics are enabled on the site, the provider and settings are listed here. Search queries typed into the site search are processed in your browser only.

Retention. We keep enquiry records for up to two years after our last contact, and client records for six years after the engagement ends to meet legal and professional obligations.

Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email info@thamesenvironment.com to exercise any of these rights.
